CultureALL™ is a Des Moines based-non-profit organization that involves Iowans in learning about other world cultures. These discovery-filled experiences strengthen understanding and appreciation of one another in our daily lives. CultureALL in the Classroom provides what text books and research projects cannot: real-life interactions with people from other cultures. CultureALL in the Community presents unique events that make Central Iowa a vibrant and attractive place for Global Citizens to live, study and work.

CULTUREALL™ is a great way to show my students there is a different world outside of Urbandale.

Thank You!

Living Cultures: Bosnia-Herzegovina

Thank you to Ċ½eljka Krvavica, Merima Catic, and everyone else who helped with our Bosnia celebration.  More than 200 people of all ages attended this event, which featured a traditional Bosnian meal created by Papillon, and dances led by Sevdah traditional dancers.

To help us in planning future Living Cultures programs like this one, CultureALL would like to have feedback from everyone who attended the Bosnia event.  If you did not have a chance to complete an evaluation survey, please take a few minutes to complete the online version by clicking here.

Thanks also to Verdian Credit Union,  INVISION Architecture, and Humanities Iowa for sponsoring this event!

Education Grant Offers Teachers Funds for Special Projects

Teachers have the opportunity to receive $1,000 and a free CULTUREALL workshop

CULTUREALL is proud to be a part of the One Classroom at a Time Education Grant. The grant is sponsored by ABC5 and Bankers Trust to help pre-school through grade 12 educators fund special projects for Central Iowa classrooms. Educators have a chance to win the grant by filling out an application describing the project, objectives and how the funds will directly affect the student’s educational experience. Applications must be submitted by the first Monday of the month to be considered for that month. CULTUREALL will work with the winners to determine which workshop will best fit with the proposed curriculum.
